About Sean Vannata
Sean Vannata is a Research Analyst at RFA and currently serves on the Philadelphia Education Research Consortium (PERC) team, studying how to best support the graduation and postsecondary preparedness of Philadelphia high school students. He also provides research support to RFA’s evaluations of 21st Century Community Learning Centers and Philadelphia’s Anti-Violence Community Expansion Grant (CEG) programs.
Vannata has experience in social policy research and quantitative analysis. He leverages this experience in support of his projects at RFA, including analyzing English Learner student data to identify successful school and district practices and conducting data collections, background research, and quantitative analyses to support RFA’s evaluation of the CEG programs. Much of his previous research has focused on the intersection of educational outcomes and household financial security, and he is committed to advancing educational and economic systems that expand opportunity and support all students in reaching their potential.
