About Lindsey Liu
Lindsey Liu joined RFA in 2017 as a Quantitative Research Fellow, and she continued her research on the Wallace Youth Arts Initiative (YAI) and postsecondary outcomes-based funding (OBF) policies as she concluded her fellowship. She is committed to conducting data-driven, equity-focused, and mixed-methods research that informs changes in education systems.
Her current projects include a program evaluation studying the effects of high-quality arts programs like YAI on youth’s arts and socio-emotional outcomes, a randomized controlled trial evaluating the impact of completion coaching on postsecondary outcomes of Tennessee Promise recipients, and a mixed-method study examining the impact of the Say Yes to Education initiative (Cleveland) on students’ postsecondary outcomes. Prior to her fellowship, Liu earned master’s degrees in Educational Linguistics and Research Methods and Educational Statistics from the University of Pennsylvania.
