Bio
Mary serves as RFA’s Policy Fellow for the Allegheny County Education Research (ACER) project and is based out of Pittsburgh, PA. The ACER project informs education policy discussion through rigorous, objective policy briefs. Prior to joining RFA, Mary has worked in the field of education both inside and outside of the classroom. Mary began her career as a literacy teacher working predominately with middle school students in Oklahoma and later in her home state of Pennsylvania. She most recently led recruitment efforts in the Pittsburgh area for a national nonprofit to strategically build a diverse teacher pipeline.
