Improving Early Literacy: An Evaluation of Early Reading Matters

Beginning in 2015, RFA has served as the evaluation partner for Early Reading Matters (ERM) program, a teacher professional development program in New York City public schools developed by Teaching Matters, Inc. The ERM program seeks to build capacity for high-quality early literacy by training and coaching K-2 teachers and school leaders in over 30 high-needs elementary schools. RFA’s annual internal evaluation provides Teaching Matters with feedback for continued improvement of the ERM program.
