About Sam Zurinsky
Sam Zurinsky is a quantitative researcher with experience conducting mixed-methods research through an interdisciplinary lens. With more than four years of experience supporting nonprofit organizations in evaluation, data analysis, survey design, and visualization, Sam brings a unique combination of research and nonprofit expertise. Prior to joining RFA, Sam served as an AmeriCorps VISTA member with After-School All-Stars National, a nationwide youth-serving organization working in Title I schools, where he coordinated data collection and strengthened evaluation practices to improve out-of-school time programming across the country.
Sam holds a degree in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences, with concentrations in Sociology and Psychology and a minor in Criminology, from the University of South Florida. As a first-generation college graduate, he is especially committed to applied research that advances opportunity, access, and equity in education. Known for being driven, collaborative, and a lifelong learner, he is passionate about using research to inform decisions that create meaningful community impact.
