Murawski joined RFA in 2010 as the organization’s first Director of Communications. In that role, she developed and implemented an organization-wide communications strategy that significantly expanded RFA’s visibility and positioned the organization as a trusted source of education research for policymakers, media, and community stakeholders. Under her leadership, RFA’s work gained regular coverage in outlets such as the Philadelphia Inquirer and Harrisburg Patriot-News, and was featured in national media including The New York Times, The Washington Post, and NPR.
Prior to joining RFA, Murawski led communications and advocacy initiatives for several nonprofit organizations, including Good Schools Pennsylvania, an education advocacy group, and 10,000 Friends of Pennsylvania, a land use policy organization.
