Dr. Rebecca Reumann-Moore is Director of Qualitative Research and an experienced project director at RFA. Her current projects include a national Gates Foundation-funded research and development project in which teachers collaborate across districts and states to develop and implement high-quality curricular tools which combine literacy and content learning and are aligned to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS), and an evaluation of the “Maker Jawn” initiative for the Free Library of Philadelphia. Rebecca has worked on a range of projects, with particular focus on adult, adolescent and early literacy; using professional development as part of a larger change initiative; building effective partnerships between non-profit organizations and schools; building community in large educational institutions; and experimenting with different approaches to catalyze pedagogical and curricular change. Prior to joining RFA, she worked in a range of educational settings, particularly adult literacy programs. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania.
