Bio

Matthew Rigsby is a Research Analyst at RFA; he joined the organization in August 2017. As a member of the quantitative team, Matthew contributes data analyses to a variety of projects, including RFA’s evaluation of Philadelphia’s Out-of-School Time programming and RFA’s study of Project Leadership & Investment For Transformation (L.I.F.T.). Prior to joining RFA, Matthew worked at Research Schools International in Boston, where he worked on a project that studied the link between social-emotional learning and student stress levels. Matthew also worked abroad as a teacher and researcher, with stints in Durban, South Africa, and Anyang, South Korea. He received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Villanova University in 2010, and a master’s degree in Education Policy from Harvard University in 2017.
