Alison Murawski is RFA’s COO & Director of Communications. Since 2010, she has implemented an organization-wide strategy to position RFA as a valuable source of information for national, statewide, and local media; district, city, and state policymakers; and other education organizations. Under her leadership, the organization has become a fixture on editorial pages with publication of research-based commentary in Education Week, the Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News, the Harrisburg Patriot News, and the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. She is currently overseeing the redesign of RFA’s website and organizational materials designed to increase the accessibility and recognition of RFA’s work. Prior to joining RFA, Alison spent five years leading communications and advocacy efforts for nonprofit organizations, including Good Schools Pennsylvania, an education advocacy group, and 10,000 Friends of Pennsylvania, a land use advocacy organization.
