Matthew Tossman is a 2009 Fels Institute Intern at Research For Action. He is also a doctoral student in Educational Leadership at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to coming to RFA and the University of Pennsylvania, he taught high school English in San Francisco and in New York City. He is particularly interested in issues of urban school reform and plans to become a principal after completing his studies.
