RFA conducted exploratory research of the early implementation of the White Williams Scholars’ Peer Academic Development (PAD) standardized curriculum. Later, during the 04-05 school year, RFA conducted an evaluability study of this program. White-Williams Scholars has served the youth of Philadelphia since 1800 and it has provided stipends to high school students since 1917. PAD, a program expansion introduced in 1997, represents a key link to the White Williams Scholars mission: To Support High Academic Achievement in Philadelphia Public High School Students of Limited Financial Resources in Order to Increase Their Opportunities for Success in the Future. |
