Which Bets Paid Off? Estimating the Effects on Middle Grades Achievement of More than a Decade of Ambitious Reform in Philadelphia
2005 - 2007
Description: RFA is assisting researchers at Johns Hopkins University who are principal investigators in an NSF-funded project to study long term trends in mathematics and science reform in the middle grades in Philadelphia. John Hopkins staff are conducting detailed analyses of changes in student outcomes and RFA helped to provide qualitative data about the "on the ground realities" of curriculum implementation and instruction. RFA also provided data from past evaluations of the Urban Systemic Initiative and the Urban Systemic Program in Philadelphia.
